WWE's Tough Enough came to its conclusion last night (August 25), when both Sara Lee and Josh were crowned WWE Tough Enough champions, each granted a $250,000 developmental contract with the company which if successful will see them join the main roster as a WWE Diva and WWE Superstar respectively.
The final four competitors - Amanda, Sara Lee, Josh and ZZ - were put into a match against WWE Diva Alicia Fox and WWE Superstar Cesaro live on the episode, and though many of the results were sloppy, there was some potential shown.
Taking on new personas, it was Hope and The Yeti who reigned supreme with the viewer votes, and even the judges.
Triple H emerged onto the stage with the two contracts, making history with the successful competitors given their next step on their WWE journey.
Now the big question is whether or not anybody will remember the pair once they're ready to debut on NXT TV. The level of talent at NXT right now is astounding, and the two are going to have to really put in the work if they're ever dreaming of competing in a televised NXT match.
That remains to be seen - it'll be interesting to see whether or not Sara Lee and Josh will have their contracts renewed in 12 months time.
