- Kalisto (c) vs. Ryback - United States Championship match
- Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin
- Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens
- Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho
- The Vaudevillians vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass - #1 Contender's match for Tag Team Championships
- The Miz (c) vs. Cesaro - Intercontinental Championship match
- Charlotte (c) vs. Natalya - Women's Championship match
- Roman Reigns (c) vs. AJ Styles - WWE World Heavyweight Championship
With our predictions for winners in bold, there's going to be more to the story on the night than meets the eye. For example, though we think AJ Styles picks up the win, we think it'll be via disqualification when Gallows and Anderson get involved in the match, stripping him of the opportunity to pick up the gold.
Elsewhere we see Nattie finally getting a sweet championship streak with her uncle Bret Hart at ringside. Hopefully he can take Ric Flair out of the picture and then the women will be allowed to shine on their own. Seeing Charlotte wrestle without her 'parent-in-crime' constantly helping her retain would be a breath of fresh air.
Kalisto's reign started out great but hasn't been given the opportunity to shine in recent weeks. It's a shame but we think his time is coming to a close with Gol… Ryback getting a push. Then again he's not had the best things to say about his career in interviews as of late so he could miss out once more on the gold after potentially picking up backstage heat.
Then there's Cesaro and The Miz. Both are great entertainers but now that the Swiss Superman is back from injury after months out, it's time to give him the spotlight.
WWE Payback 2016 airs live on pay-per-view and on the WWE Network tonight (May 1).
