03:55AM GMT: Seth Rollins retains the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as the decision was made to disqualify Seth Rollins, giving Ambrose the win via DQ.

03:53AM GMT: Dean Ambrose wins the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

03:20AM GMT: It's time for the main event - Seth Rollins versus Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Seth Rollins is flanked by Director of Operations Kane as well as J&J Security on his way to the ring - this is a match that will surely test the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, will he manage to retain?

With Ambrose picking up some early momentum, J&J Security whipped Rollins out of the ring to give him enough time to recover and even the odds in the match once more. A battle for strength ensued and Rollins got the upper hand, unloading a huge barrage of kicks against his former friend and Shield alliance member.

Gaining ground once more and switching things up, Ambrose landed a leg drop against Rollins who was tied up in the ropes, but once again it was to-and-fro with neither one letting up. Rollins eventually managed to stamp down on Ambrose who was tied up in the corner in a move that looked brutal and proved to be very effective.

A little later in the match and a big collision sees both men taken down and the referee reaching a count of six before Rollins and Ambrose got to their feet. Building momentum Ambrose looked unstoppable but a reversal lead to the pair rolling back and forth, pinning one another but neither picking up the win.

Pulling the champion out of harms way once more, J&J may have caused more harm than good with Ambrose flying out of the ring, sending Seth and himself over the announce tables and into the laps of Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler. Quick to recover, Ambrose got Rollins back in the ring, but Rollins managed to backslide Ambrose into a pin, using the ropes for leverage but being caught by the official before almost sneaking the win.

Getting Ambrose on the floor, Rollins went to the top rope but Ambrose managed to knock him down before grabbing his opponent, giving hiim blows to the back and going for a suplex. Rollins however countered and lifted Ambrose on his shoulders, only to be sent out of the ring by his opponent who swiftly followed. Riled up, Ambrose sauntered towards J&J but left them alone before Rollins capitalised on the distraction and powerbombed Ambrose into the barricade. Getting Ambrose back in the ring, there was a near fall for the champ but still no win.

Talking smack to Ambrose, Rollins fell victim to a Tornado DDT and almost lost his championship in the closest count of the match so far. Taking Rollins to the ropes once more, Ambrose attempted to deliver another leg drop from the corner, but Seth got him back with a kick but succumbed to a big closeline and another close pinfall. Refusing to give up, Ambrose got to the top rope and landed an elbow drop across Rollins' neck, gaining another near fall.

J&J Security provided a third distraction, allowing Rollins to gain some ground and deliver another powerbomb to Ambrose, leaving him in the corner of the ring, but not defeated. Attacking J&J, Ambrose then took to the top rope and landed on both J&J as well as Corporate Kane - but not without also hurting himself. Rollins capitalised on this by going outside and attacking Ambrose before trying to throw him back inside the ring, but a clothesline saw Rollins smashed to the outside mat. Ambrose got to the top rope again, but the challenger wiped out the referee when Rollins used him as a guman shield. Going for the pedigree, Rollins was unsuccessful and launched to the second rope, but Rollins reversed and went for a big top rope move - nobody was home. Ambrose managed to get a Dirty Deeds in on Rollins, but the official was out. Luckily for Ambrose, a new official ran inside the ring, and he picked up the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the biggest shock of the night.

03:15AM GMT: Ryback wins the Intercontinental Championship

02:43AM GMT - The six-way Intercontinental Championship Elimination Chamber match is about to get underway - Mark Henry is the man to take Rusev's spot.

With Mark Henry, R-Truth, Sheamus and Ryback locked away in pods, it would be Dolph Ziggler and King Barrett who kicked off things - would either of them be able to make it through five other competitors and take home the title?

Switching momentum back and forth, both Barrett and Ziggler looked strong at times but it was Barrett who used the cage to his advantage, throwing Ziggler into the chains and steel grating floor. He didn't gain the elimination however before the first pod opened and allowed R-Truth to enter the match.

Despite seemingly having an advantage coming in late, Barrett didn't allow Truth to even come out of the pod before launching a huge attack on the competitor, then turning his attention back to Ziggler and sending him straight into a corner of the ring. This though caused enough distraction for Truth to regain some energy and bring Barrett to the floor. The King regained momentum though, taking Truth down before almost being taken out of the match himself by Ziggler - earning Hollywood's favourite a kick to the jaw.

With Ziggler sent right into Mark Henry's glass pod and the glass falling out of the containment, Henry was able to enter the match before his pod was even eligible to open. Ryback then quickly entered the match right after Henry and began bringing it to the World's Strongest Man, allowing Barrett some reprieve, but not for long.

King Barrett went on to receive The Lie Detector from Truth after a beatdown from his fellow competitors and fell victim to a pin, being the first Superstar sent back to the locker room.

Four men in the ring didn't look to be lasting for long as Sheamus was told his pod would open - but with the door jamming the men in the ring all went at each other, hoping to pick up an elimination and slim the pickings in the ring. With Ziggler, Ryback and Truth worried about what Henry could do to them, the three teamed up and worked together - but not for long. Truth fell victim to Ryback's Shellshocked and became the second eliminee.

It then emerged that Sheamus used his Celtic Cross to remain in his pod until all competitors were on the ground. His first move was sending Dolph through one of the pod's glass windows, and he then went on to throw Ryback onto the steel grate outside of the ring. Turning his attention to Henry, he smack-talked to the World' Strongest Man before receiving a huge splash from Henry. Only picking up a two count however, the Brogue Kick from a recovered Sheamus saw Henry eliminated.

After a big battle, Sheamus and Ziggler's rivalry came to a head when Ziggler received a Brogue Kick for his efforts and was eliminated - his chances at the Intercontinental Championship gone.

Delivering White Noise to Ryback on the steel grate outside the ring, Sheamus still didn't manage to pick up the Championship after rolling his opponent back inside. Taking him back outside the ring after regaining momentum he smashed Ryback into the steel grate once more, but Ryback managed to Shellshock Sheamus in the middle of the ring and won his first singles championship in WWE - the Intercontinental Championship.

02:39AM GMT: Neville lands the Red Arrow to defeat Bo Dallas

02:29AM GMT: Neville versus Bo Dallas is about to get underway - check out our interview with Neville here!

With some history and Neville responsible for ending Dallas' reign as NXT Champion - this was always going to be an incredible match-up which would have the crowds going wild. Known as a high-flyer it didn't take long for Neville to take to the top rope and moonsault Dallas, even though the latter was on the outside of the ring. He continued his momentum inside the ring, but was forced to break a submission hold when Bo reached the ropes.

Bo then went on to plead with Neville in the middle of the ring, saying he was doing his best to help his former rival before Neville attacked - only to be sent out of the ring in a swift throw.

Bo lead the charge for a good eight minutes, picking and choosing the best ways to weaken Neville before planting him with a strong DDT but only picking up a two count.

Neville managed to land a good kick to Bo's skull however before taking to the top rope and flying off with a Red Arrow, finishing up perfectly and getting the three count for a big win - is this the end of his rivalry with Bo Dallas?

02:22AM GMT: Kevin Owens defeats John Cena

02:00AM GMT - In what may be the most dangerous match of the night, US Champion John Cena is going up against NXT Champion Kevin Owens.

Battling for strength the pair sauntered around the ring, testing each other's vulnerabilites as chants of "Let's Go Cena!" went up against "Cena Sucks!" in the arena.

Owens managed to keep a lot of momentum throughout the first 10 or so minutes of the match, never really allowing Cena to pick up anything substantial until the famous Five Knuckle Shuffle was planted firmly on Owens' forehead. Going for the AA, Owens managed to slip out of it and Pop-up Powerbomb Cena into the mat - but Cena was able to kick out after a close two count.

Dodging a top rope moonsault, Cena rolled out of the way and went on to deliver the AA, but only caught a two count himself before Owens kicked out.

Mocking Cena, Owens went for his own version of the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Cena managed to lock in the STFU - Owens broke out however and smashed Cena into the mat once more, this time with the Attitude Adjustment. Kicking out and delivering a Tornado DDT, the pair lay in the middle of the ring before Cena took back to the top rope, landing a leg drop to the back of Owens' neck but still not able to pick up the win.

The incredible match continued with another big move from Owens but Cena still unwilling to give up and allow him to get the three count. Exchanging blows in the middle of the ring, it was Owens again who managed to throw Cena against the ropes, but Cena landed a big Springboard Stunner ahead of another very close two count. The frustration on both men's faces was very, very apparent.

After taking a big Clothesline, Kevin Owens managed to land a second Pop-up Powerbomb and picked up a clean, legit win against Cena. A huge night for NXT, and the NXT Champ Owens.

01:50AM GMT: Nikki Bella retains the Diva's Championship

01:44AM GMT: It's the WWE Diva's Championship match and current champ Nikki Bella is going up against Naomi and Paige in what is sure to be an incredible showdown.

The match got off to a really fast start which is what the Divas are sometimes lacking, in a great showing that saw each competitor get their chance to shine. Paige was the one who first looked the strongest, managing to cover Naomi quickly for a close two count.

Things then shifted and when Nikki went for a huge kick on Paige, she just missed and was sent sailing out of the ring to the mat outside. Inside, Naomi suplexed Paige before landing a leg drop across her neck and screaming, "Who's the best?" - she's brilliant at playing heel.

After taking a Rear View, Nikki managed to hit the Rack Attack on Naomi and retained her Diva's Championship in a clean and great win.

Brie then ran out to the ring to congratulate her sister on the big win, escorting her out of the ring and allowing her to celebrate in style.

01:36AM GMT: New Day retain the WWE Tag Team Championships

1:05AM GMT: And we're kicking the main show off with the WWE Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber match!

All three members of The New Day are able to compete in the match and El Torito is also eligible to get involved, standing on top of one of the Elimination Chamber pods. The Ascension and Lucha Dragons will kick off the match with the other four tag teams waiting to enter from inside their pods.

Neither team were eliminated before the third team - Cesaro and Tyson Kidd - had to enter the match-up. The pair quickly gained momentum as a fresh duo, picking apart The Ascension with a series of innovative combinations and moves. They then moved onto Lucha Dragons and Cesaro superplexed Kalisto from the top of The New Day's pod.

With three teams in the ring, Los Matadores were to enter fourth and El Torito wasted no time in getting involved in the action. Meanwhile Kalisto dangled upside down at the top of the chamber before falling onto The Ascension and Cesaro. Within just a few minutes, Los Matadores were eliminated by The Ascension.

The Ascension then wasted no time in moving on to The Lucha Dragons, managing to eliminate the team within a couple of minutes of the Los Matadores elimination.

Prime Time Players entered the ring fifth, meaning that The New Day will have a huge advantage coming into the match last with all three members able to compete. Making short work of The Ascension, the Prime Time Players eliminated the pair and went up against Cesaro and Kidd ahead of The New Day's entry.

With bodies sprawled across the ring, The New Day are entering the match fresh and look ready to take on everyone in their way. At this point, retaining the championship should be easy. When they went for a 3-on-2 against Cesaro and Kidd however, the two teamed with Prime Time Players and sent The New Day smashing into the mat. Kidd and Cesaro then locked Xavier Woods right back into his pod to level the playing field - a brilliant strategy.

Prime Time Players quickly turned on their allies with Darren Young surprising Cesaro and pinning him for the three count.

The New Day managed to free Xavier from his pod once more but Prime Time Players gained momentum with Big E's head sent straight into one of the glass pods. A few minutes later though and he recovered, charging his way through the ring and helping deliver Trouble In Paradise to Titus O'Neil.

All piling on top of Titus, the three retained the WWE Tag Team Championship belts.

"I came here to present the Intercontinental Championship to whoever is worthy of winning it inside the Elimination Chamber."

00:39AM GMT: Lana on "being free" of Rusev - "It's very bittersweet. I think life is what we make it and, I think happiness is a choice, and I think ultimately we define our own destiny, so I choose to be happy regardless of my circumstance and count my blessings... I choose to be happy... I choose to be free! Hashtag!"

00:34AM GMT: Stardust defeats Zack Ryder

In the first match of the night on the WWE Elimination Chamber Kick Off Show, Zack Ryder went up against Stardust in a regular one-on-one.

Momentum quickly shifted from Superstar to Superstar, but Ryder managed to drive Stardust out of the ring after a bit of to-and-fro. Heading back into the ring however, Stardust managed to turn things around and grounded his opponent with some swift kicks. A neckbreaker expertly delivered by Ryder levelled out the playing field once more, and it didn't take long for the action to fly out of the ring again.

JBL let fellow commentators Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler know that the 'Queen's Crossbow' is a brand new move Stardust was hoping to deliver in his match tonight - and when he did hit Ryder with it he caught the three count and picked up the win.
