It's that time again as WWE presents its latest pay-per-view, this time with Extreme Rules. With some incredible sounding match-ups scheduled and lots of gold on the line, we can't wait to bring you the results straight from the show live! For now though, here are our predictions for the night…
- Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin (No Disqualification Match)
- Kalisto (c) vs. Rusev (United States Championship Match)
- The New Day (c) vs. The Vaudevillains (Tag Team Championship Match)
- The Usos vs. Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows (Texas Tornado Match)
- Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho (Asylum Match)
- The Miz (c) vs. Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn (Intercontinental Championship Match)
- Charlotte (c) vs. Natalya (Women's Championship Submission Match)
- Roman Reigns (c) vs. AJ Styles (World Heavyweight Championship Extreme Rules Match)
I've gone with a couple of questionable choices here, but with this 'new era', WWE really needs to start surprising the fans. The best way to do that in this pay-per-view would be with a Women's Championship change and Cesaro finally being given the push he so deserves. Whilst Cesaro should be in the Heavyweight Championship picture in the near future, for now, he should be given a great Intercontinental Championship reign. Meanwhile, Natalya needs to be thanked for always putting her all into everything she does and at times, holding the weight of the Women's Division on her shoulders. She deserves this title reign, perhaps more than anybody else.
Whilst I do think Roman will be retaining tonight, I'm gonna be bold and say that after The Club come out to try and help AJ to victory, the Shield will reform, with Dean rushing out to help his friend first, then Seth Rollins finally making his comeback to help his old friends turned enemies.
