Toni Storm and Io Shirai have done an incredible job in this year's Mae Young Classic, but the pair wanted to get the complete job done in the final match of the tournament, taking place at WWE's first ever all-female pay-per-view, WWE Evolution.

The pair did an incredible job of showing just why WWE fans are so enamored with the NXT product; their Superstars are truly some of the best the company has ever seen!

Leaving everything in the ring, the pair swapped momentum on a number of occasions, soaking up their moment in the spotlight as they made history in front of a sold-out crowd.

Storm delivered a beautiful suplex to Shirai, but the latter managed to get the upper hand up in one of the corners on the top rope, kicking Storm out of the ring entirely and then landing a moonsault.

As the pace remained steady, the upper hand switched between Storm and Shirai a number of times before Storm managed to put Shirai down with a Storm Zero, but only picked up a count of two when she went for the pin.

Shirai then picked up the pace once more, hitting Storm with a 619 and sunset flip off of a springboard, but she also only managed to get a count of two before Storm would kick out.

A second storm zero from Storm saw the Superstar take home the trophy with a three-count; we really can't wait to see what this young lady has in store for the WWE Universe moving forward.

WWE Evolution continues on WWE Network, with other fantastic WWE content also available!
