Bold Predictions
It's pretty certain the WWE Championship will be coming back to Monday Night Raw, and after Roman Reigns was suspended from the company for 30 days, we can't imagine the big wigs will want to immediately reward him upon his return. Rollins has already proved how viable a champion he makes and, after being the number one pick during SmackDown Live's Draft, surely there are big plans for him. Ambrose's time will come again - likely with the introduction of a new Heavyweight Championship for SmackDown Live.
The Club are being split following the Draft, so this could be their last victory as a trio for some time. AJ Styles cheating his way to a win for his team would be a great way to further the rivalry between him and Cena, with the pair of them now both on SmackDown. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson can also then continue feuding with Enzo and Cass on Raw, but both of these teams should soon be turning their eyes to the Tag Team Championships.
Darren Young is getting the push the majority believe he deserves, so to put the brakes on now would be a major disappointment. The only problem with this is that it would mean the Intercontinental Championship would move to Raw, leaving the belts on the line over at SmackDown at a bare minimum if our other predictions come to pass.
Though The Wyatt Family seem to have gotten under the skin of The New Day and in particular, Xavier Woods, the brand split and Draft could see them implode, with Braun Strowman now set up for a career on Raw whilst Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan move over to SmackDown. In-family fighting usually leads to a big loss - is that what we could see here?
Finally, just who is going to be Sasha Banks' mystery partner? For now, our money and hopes are on Bayley, but it wouldn't be too huge of a surprise if her debut was being kept for SummerSlam. She is, after all, still owed a rematch against Asuka for the NXT Women's Championship. Perhaps we'll see Alexa Bliss or Carmella make a big debut with Sasha tonight, after they were picked to move up in the Draft?
Battleground is available LIVE on Sky Sports Box Office and WWE Network tonight, July 24 at 1am.
