We love Friends here at Female First. So much so, that when we were having a look at our horoscopes for the week, we got to thinking about just which of the show's characters would fit most with the personality traits we all know and love from the 12 different zodiac signs. Without any personal training or knowledge within the world of stargazing, please take all of these with a pinch of salt and for entertainment purposes only!
With that being said, here is the Friends character you are based on your zodiac sign...
Aries - Chandler Bing
Renowned for their brilliant sense of humour, who else could fill the Aries slot other than Chandler Bing? His jokes may not always land, but even when they don't, they'll be so terrible that you'll be laughing anyway! Aries are also known to be motivated and confident in their abilities due to a relentless determination, which is relatable for Chandler who has always been very successful in his career.
Scorpio - Janice Hosenstein
Like a dog with a bone whenever she sets eyes on Chandler, Janice Hosenstein is so much like a Scorpio we're surprised the zodiac sign isn't actually modelled off her! Though her obsession may be creepy for the majority who watch it in action, Janice likely sees it as a passionate display of friendship and adoration. We're sure she's harmless, but we wouldn't have been too surprised to see a dark episode of Friends where she ended up behind bars for stalking!
Gemini - Phoebe Buffay
As the core group member with a literal twin, we couldn't think of a sign better suited to Phoebe Buffay than Gemini! Often mistaken as two-faced, Gemini are actually extremely loyal, and that's something we've seen from Phoebe in spade-loads. When her friends have been fighting, she's acted as peacemaker, seeing the situation from both sides and refusing to team up with one of her pals against the other. Everybody needs a Phoebe in their lives!
Taurus - Ursula Buffay
Speaking of Phoebe's twin, say hello to Ursula Buffay! Working in the adult entertainment industry and with a domineering personality, we think the personality traits of a Taurus - which include practicality, determination ambition and being a bit of a dark horse - fit the mysterious Buffay family member down to a tee.
Cancer - Amanda Buffamonteezi
Being nurturing and sensitive are both things you might not immediately think of when you first think of Amanda Buffamonteezi - Monica and Phoebe's old roommate - but beneath that bubbly surface is certainly a woman who would look after you in any way she could. That goofy sense of humour and unwittingly becoming the focus of somebody else's jokes also goes hand-in-hand with Cancer signs.
Leo - Rachel Green
Confidence is key when it comes to describing Rachel Green. In fact, some may even go as far to say that she is arrogant. That's often a misconception of Leo signs, who are enthusiastic and passionate about all that they do, so what better sign to match her up with? She's extremely proud of how she looks and her appearance and, when she gave birth to Emma, became just like a lioness protecting her cub.
Pisces - Carol Willick
As Ross' ex-wife, we don't get to see much of Carol Willick throughout the series. When she did appear however, she looked to be an empathetic individual, following her discovery of her true self. That's something comparable to the traits we find in Pisces, who are also known for being mystical and impressionable people, who are always seeking the pleasure in life.
Virgo - Joey Tribbiani
Known for being one of the most flirtatious signs, we just had to match Virgo with the master flirter himself, Joey Tribbiani! How you doin'? When he's not entertaining the nation with his performance as a doctor in Days of our Lives, he's looking for his next female conquest, enjoying quick and fleeting 'fun' over romance for much of the series! Extremely cheerful and loyal, Virgo are also adept at masking their emotions. When we saw Joey fall for Rachel, that became more apparent than ever before.
Sagittarius - Frank Buffay Jr.
Another member of the Buffay family was introduced in Frank Jr., who was one of the clumsiest characters in television history! With Sagittarius renowned for being both adventurous and rebellious, we just had to couple the sign with Frank, who fell in love with his home economics teacher and enjoyed a healthy relationship with her, which led to his sister Phoebe carrying their triplets! You can't get much more adventurous than that.
Libra - Monica Geller
Often known as the people who keep everything in order and balanced, Libra signs sometimes let their necessity for everything to be perfect get the better of them. That's something we've seen in Monica Geller time and again, and it's her ultimate strength. Though she can at times be hard to be around, she's a generous soul who would move the Earth to make her friends happy.
Capricorn - Gunther
Those who are a Capricorn sign are renowned for being married to their career. They're disciplined and realistic; but also sensitive and persistent. From what we saw of Gunther's love for both the coffee shop and Rachel Green, there's nobody better suited to this zodiac sign.
Aquarius - Ross Geller
Some say that Aquarius can be identified due to their offbeat physical fashion and appearance. So, when we thought of Ross Geller and how his incredibly-bright teeth stole the show in an episode many years back, we had to pair the sign and the character together! Aquarius love technology and innovation, and have non-conformist attitudes which can lead to some unique hobbies. Ross is obsessed with dinosaur bones. I rest my case.
