With the month of May 2022 soon to reach its end, we’re taking a look forward at what we will all be able to enjoy in the coming weeks on Netflix. June has a lot to offer, so let’s dive right in! Here’s everything you should be watching on Netflix in June 2022…

Borgen - Power & Glory – Released June 2nd

Netflix's new version of the hit Danish political drama Borgen is soon to arrive, focusing on the life and career of Foreign Minister, Birgitte Nyborg (Sidse Babett Knudsen).

When a dispute over oil in Greenland threatens to become an international crisis, Nyborg must fight not only to keep her career, but to ensure that the country she loves remains in control of one of the most precarious political situations and events in its history.

Focusing on the struggle for power and, exactly what that power does to people and changes them, this will undoubtedly be one of the most compelling series of the year.

Mr Good: Cop or Crook? - Released June 3rd

If you're a crime junkie like me, then you'll be adding Mr. Good: Cop or Crook? to your list ASAP! Tracing the infamous criminal case against Norwegian cop Eirik Jensen, the answers to questions that have been asked since his 2013 arrest are explored.

Right up until its final minutes, audiences of this docuseries will be left wondering exactly who is telling the truth. Is officer Jensen the best policeman in the region's history or, one of the biggest drug trafficker Scandinavia has ever seen?

God's Favorite Idiot - Released June 15th

Created by Ben Falcone, who also stars alongside the legendary Melissa McCarthy, God's Favorite Idiot is a new Apocalyptic comedy series set in America, with 16 episodes set across two separate release dates. The first eight are almost upon us!

Clark (Falcone) has been struck by lightning. Instead of getting some incredible superhero abilities however, he can simply glow. His coworkers, including girlfriend Amily (McCarthy) come to the conclusion that he must now have been touched by God.

When an angel tells Clark that he has been chosen to be God's messenger, and that it's up to him to prevent the Apocalypse from happening, chaos ensues! Bring on the laughs...

Love & Anarchy Season 2 - Released June 16th

Romantic comedy Love & Anarchy makes its return for a second outing, with recently-divorced Sofie (Ida Engvoll) attempting to now build a life for herself and Max (Björn Mosten).

Of course, nothing goes as planned and, with publishing business Lund & Lagersted trying to navigate the modern world and all-new options offered up by society, nothing is as straight-forward as many would hope.

Spriggan - Released June 18th

Anime fans will be excited to hear that Netflix has another original on the way.

Spriggan tells the story of an ancient civilisation's relics which hold dangerous powers on Earth. Of course, when power is up for grabs, the wrong people will do whatever it takes to claim that power for their own.

It’s up to ARCAM Corporation's Spriggan agents to ensure that they protect not only the relics from thievery, but the world from the potentially devastating effects that they could bring.

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 - Released June 22nd

Our ragtag group of Umbrella Academy ‘students’ are back, with saving the world on the agenda once more. When they make their return to what is supposed to be their home, they find the Sparrow Academy and, a version of themselves that they never knew existed.

The battle of the academies has arrived and, whilst our heroes of sorts have been through the wringer and back, it’s up to them once more to ensure the Apocalypse doesn’t take place.

Exactly how or if they’ll be able to get that done remains to be seen. All we know for sure is that it’s going to be VERY entertaining.
