NBC is preparing to bring back Hannibal for its third season with broadcast starting in a few weeks in the United States. With fans hoping to find out following the shocking finale of season two just what's in store, it's been revealed that love is in the air for Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen), but that doesn't mean they'll be any less blood and brains splattered.
Gillian Anderson is this season promoted to series regular for the first time, and viewers will be able to find out more about the psychiatrist - Bedelia du Maurier - who's on the run in Europe with her husband following the exposure of his crimes and eating habits.
With the promotional video above, it seems that NBC is going to place a big focus on the relationship dynamic between Maurier and Lecter, and the tweet with a brand new poster shows off a brilliant contrast against the actual tone of the series.
A Korean promo has also managed to find its way online featuring flashes of characters and heavy symbolism, such as a tear of blood falling from Will Graham's (Hugh Dancy) eye and Hannibal speeding through a broken highway, with murder weapons and familiar faces filling the roads whilst he drives on his motorcycle.
