The first three minutes of Fear The Walking Dead have been revealed, with tension and suspense rising from the very moment the show kicks off.
Posted on the series' official Facebook page, we're introduced to a young man - Nick Clark (Frank Dillane) - who's bedded down in an abandoned church for the night, and after he hears a noise that worries him, he starts exploring the location in search for a woman he calls Gloria (Lexi Johnson).
Discovering blood-splattered bannisters and the body of a man who's had his throat ripped out, Nick arms himself with a poker and continues to try and find his friend.
Getting a huge surprise when he does eventually track her down between the pews in the church, he ushers her to leave the church but then realises that all is not as it seems with Gloria.
Fear The Walking Dead will take viewers right back to the start of the zombie apocalypse in Los Angeles, following the story of high school guidance counsellor Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her family, who meet up with a bunch of new faces in a bid to survive.
Fear The Walking Dead premieres in the US on AMC on Sunday August 23 at 9pm ET, coming to the UK on AMC from BT at 9pm on Monday, August 31.
