With discontent growing throughout the United Kingdom and Spitalfields silk company failing, Queen Victoria decides she must help out against the advice of Peel and Albert, in the upcoming new episode of ITV period drama, Victoria. Hatching a plan for a medieval ball at the Palace, with attendees told they must wear costumes made from Spitalfields silk, could she help the company get back on its feet once more?

Elsewhere, Victoria becomes more concerned about Lord Melbourne, having received no recent news about him. Sending Emma to check up on her old friend, she could be about to discover something she would prefer not to have known.
Meanwhile, Albert is finding it tough to fit in as a Prince Consort, but allows himself to fall deeply into the grandeur of the event, enjoying the opportunity to finally wear a crown. With the ball’s arrival comes the opportunity for old friends to reunite, with romance available around every corner, but will the nation respond in the way Victoria hopes?
