Upfronts Week continues and today we've had trailers from ABC for the new shows they recently announced. Amongst them is a new Shonda Rhimes production called The Catch, the upcoming Muppets TV Show and comedy Dr. Ken. Check out what they have to offer below.

The Catch

Shondaland's Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers team up for a brand new thriller centering around strong and successful Alice Martin (Mireille Enos). As a fraud investigator she's very on the ball, and so when her fiancé acts to make her the victim of fraud, she's determined to find him and stop her career from being ruined - all this between huge profile cases.

Created by writer and producer Jennifer Schuur (Hannibal, Hellcats), the series is going to be one that's tricky to pull off, but has all the right ingredients to be successful. A solid cast which also includes Jay Hayden, Alimi Ballard and more means that it's already got off to a great start for ABC.

The Muppets

The Muppets are back in a brand new series set up as a mockumentary, bringing together some of our favourite characters from Jim Henson. Though they're starred in movies in recent years, the television is where it all began for the puppets and is where they're headed once more.

Launching a new trailer, ABC show Kermit the Frog, Gonzo, Fozzie and more plotting out the new series in a show with a format different to past Muppets ventures. Do you think this could be a big success?

Wicked City

As an anthology series, Wicked City will each season follow a different case set in a different noteworthy era of Los Angeles history. The first will focus in on a murder case from 1982, "centered on the rock and roll cocaine-infused revelry of the Sunset Strip".

Ed Westwick, Erika Christensen and Adam Rothenberg are amongst the cast, all with their characters forced to make unlikely alliances. NBC are looking to premiere their own period crime thriller series with Aquarius - also set in LA - so it'll be exciting to see just which comes out on top.

Oil

Don Johnson joins Chace Crawford, Scott Michael Foster and Rebecca Rittenhouse in an ambitious new series focusing on a young couple who hope to make a big buck (Crawford and Rittenhouse). With the modern-day oil boom in North Dakota, the pair are on the chase for the American Dream, but when they clash with a hugely powerful oil Tycoon (Johnson) for control and power of the land, things don't get exactly to plan.

Creators Rodes Fishburne and Josh Pate team up for Oil are are to executive produce the series along with Don Johnson, Tony Krantz and Drew Comins.

Budget restraints could see the flashiness in the trailer reduced as the series goes on, but with good acting and a lot of promise, this show could become one of the best ABC have to offer.

Dr. Ken

Ken Jeong steps into the lead role of Dr. Ken in a new sitcom focusing on a successful doctor who's continuing to work on improving his bedside manner, whilst also managing his ever-changing family dynamic. With children growing up and rebelling against their father, ABC are hoping it'll be a comedy hit.

Krista Marie Yu, Suzy Nakamura, Dave Foley and more all also star in the series - a show which the trailer for has seen a mixed reception to so far.

The Real O'Neals

Martha Plimpton and Jay R. Ferguson are amongst the cast for The Real O'Neals - another comedy from ABC. Focusing on a strict Irish Catholic family's adventures, secrets begin to cloud their worlds and exposures could mean their reputation is shattered forever.

Created by Casey Johnson and David Windsor, the trailer sees heartfelt moments scattered throughout as well as comedy, could this be a huge hit?

The Family

A hugely dark drama here stars Liam James, Joan Allen, Alison Pill, Zach Gilford, Rupert Graves and more as the story of a politician (Allen) is unravelled. She's shocked to discover her husband's (Graves) son (James) returns home after a decade, because he was presumed dead following his disappearance. Welcoming him home, things soon get gritty as anger, paranoia and distrust reign over all.

Writer and producer Jenna Bans brings the show to life on ABC, in what looks like an intense and thrilling watch. Great acting and a solid cast with brilliant chemistry should ensure success for this one.

Uncle Buck

Based on the John Candy classic, Uncle Buck is to be premiered before the end of the year with Mike Epps in the title role, supported by cast including James Lesure, Carrie Barrett, Nia Long and more. A modern take on the classic, it follows the adventures of irresponsible Uncle Buck as he comes home to try and help his brother out in looking after his children.

Brian Bradley and Steven Cragg are the masterminds behind the new series, and with this show will come a lot of purists who hope it's a good ABC sitcom that sticks true to the original.

Quantico

A group of diverse FBI recruits arrive for training and vetting at the Quantico FBI Base, but things go wrong when the largest terrorist attack to hit America since 9/11 occurs, with one of the recruits suspected of being behind it all.

Creator Joshua Safron brings together a cast of Priyanka Chopra, Jake McLaughlin, Johanna Braddy, Tate Ellington and Graham Rodgers, and this is a trailer that does a great job of introducing and establishing those names and their characters. It's ambitious but sounds brilliant - could it be the best of ABC's offering this year?

Of Kings And Prophets

Ray Winstone joins Oliver Rix, James Floyd, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and more in a brand new biblical tale drama of David (Rix) and King Saul (Winstone). With Saul growing weary about everything around him despite being sent to guide David as a prophet from God towards David's ascension to ruling, there's trademark moments hinted at in the trailer, including the infamous battle of David and Goliath.

Adam Cooper and Bill Collage collaborate to create the show, hoping to bring new light to a story that has been told a million times in very different ways. Will ABC be able to deliver the grand scale on which a story like this needs?
