Last night saw the premiere of Total Divas on E!, bringing the drama out from behind the WWE curtain as some of the world's leading female wrestlers prepared for the WWE sporting event of the year, WrestleMania.

With eight to ten male matches going on at WrestleMania 29, there's only room for one Divas match and it's the spot that every single woman on the roster wants to be cast for, and so when veteran Natalya is told she won't be making an appearance and the women she trained - the Bella Twins - will be taking a spot, she isn't happy.

Aside from the drama we also get to see all of the love and relationships going on, blossoming from the business.

Nikki Bella is dating John Cena, and the pair couldn't be happier despite Nikki's questioning of their relationship, whilst her sister Brie is with Daniel Bryan.

Funkadactyls Naomi and Cameron (Ariane) are also present, with the former dating Jimmy Uso of The Usos tag team and the latter in a relationship with a boyfriend named Vincent, who causes a scene backstage making it awkward for Trinity who's embarrassed and stuck in the middle.

For fans of wrestling this is a must-see, and for those of us who have grown out of our obsession tuning in every week, it's still rewarding to go back and revisit the world which may have held such a big part of your childhood to teen years.

The WWE is a very different place nowadays, but those who love reality television and big personalities should make it so this new series slots right into their schedule.

Total Divas continues Sundays at 10pm on E!
