How does it feel to be hosting Miss World 2014?

Presenting Miss World is a truly unique experience that is quite surreal. The very first time I hosted the show from China, I started grinning in rehearsals when over one hundred beautiful ladies walked onto [the] stage. I expect my grin will be there again hosting from London.

There are 120 contestants from all over the world taking part this year in London, do you have any favourites?

I think the show has evolved over the years, given that all the contestants are stunning my favourite contestants this time will be based on their achievements and goals off stage... also I will of course hope that Miss Wales, Miss England, Miss N Ireland and Miss Scotland do well.

What do you think it is about this competition that always has the world so enthralled?

It's an enthralling spectacle simply because it's a huge show that celebrates the world and its cultures encompassed in a two hour global live TV broadcast as well, so anything could happen!

Do you still get nervous for events such as this one?

I only get nervous when you're ill-prepared or under-rehearsed. Miss World is a well organised machine and by Sunday I will be looking forward to getting the party started.

You're used to being at these sorts of events speaking to the stars, you've had such a great career so far, can you pick out some highlights?

My day job for 11 years is filming anywhere and everywhere for NBC's six night a week entertainment show Access Hollywood from Morocco, New York, Japan, Paris, Florence.

I've covered all the big show business events, interviewing every major star, which will come in handy on Sunday night chatting to the sometimes nervous ladies.

Miss World 2014 will be broadcast later today at 3pm on E! Entertainment Television, live from London's ICC ExCeL Centre.
