Both The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead were given brand new explosive and entertaining trailers last weekend at Comic-Con, with the AMC series looking to provide some incredible drama when they hit screens later this year.
FOX also announced that The Walking Dead season six would premiere in the UK on October 12, just 24 hours after its American debut. The first episode will be an extended 90 minutes.
Sharon Tal Yguado, EVP Scripted Entertainment Programming at FOX International Channels commented: "Seeing the unrivalled global success of The Walking Dead unfold over the past five years has, in a sense, been very humbling. No matter how hard the actors, producers, programmers and marketers work on the show, the zombie explosion would not have been possible without the die-hard support of our global fans. It is why FOX continues to be committed to a day and date release of the series that ensures fans of the show everywhere, continue to be part of the global conversation."
The show's sixth season will air in two parts, with eight episodes coming from October 12 and the final eight returning next year in February.
Meanwhile spin-off series Fear The Walking Dead takes us right back to the start of the zombie infection, when the world was turned on its head forever and people were confused about the changes happening all around them.
Set in Los Angeles, viewers will be introduced to a whole host of new characters played by the likes of Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Ruben Blades, Mercedes Mason and Lorenzo James Henrie.
Fear The Walking Dead will debut exclusively in the UK on BT TV, with the premiere date being announced in the coming weeks.
