The Great British Bake Off comes to its 2015 conclusion this coming Wednesday (October 7), as Nadiya, Tamal and Ian battle it out for the coveted trophy and title of winner - but just which out of the contestants out of the final three deserve the win? It's a tough choice...

Nadiya

Matching Ian with three wins of Star Baker, Nadiya is going into the final week having picked up that title in two consecutive weeks before it. She's only ever been considered for elimination once in week six, and has been top of the pile in three other weeks where she just missed out on grabbing the Star Baker title.

Consistently funny, whether intentionally or not, Nadiya has provided some brilliant laughs throughout the series with her self put-downs and awesome facial expressions. Seeing her win would put a huge smile on our faces one last time - we can't wait to see just where she's launched to with this platform. It's going to be nice to see a Muslim woman get so much recognition in an industry that is primarily made up of white people.

Tamal

Though he's only ever won Star Baker once on week seven, Tamal has never been one of the judge's least favourite bakers of the week, and has instead sat in the middle or near the top for the other eight weeks of competition. He's come close to winning Star Baker a whopping five times, so if everything is taken into consideration it wouldn't be surprising to see Tamal edge out his opponents and bake his way into superstardom.

A win for Tamal would be much-deserved, but perhaps not neccessary. His popularity on social media is above and beyond most of the other contestants, with the trainee anaesthetist and baker becoming a sex icon with many viewers! It'd be difficult to imagine a baking world without Tamal in it from this point on, so we imagine his career is going to take off with or without the win.

Ian

Ian's somewhat of an enigma. His personality is hard to enjoy but he has a certain sort of charisma about him which makes him hard to dislike. Winning Star Baker three times consecutively in weeks two through to four meant that viewers were certain it was going to be a walk in the park for Ian, but ever since that trio of wins he's dwindled slightly and failed to bring anything else to the show that would give him the Star Baker title for a fourth time. And despite those three big wins, he has actually out of all the contestants been at the bottom most often, coming close to elimination twice in weeks five and nine.

However, with the final week will come some big challenges which we're sure Ian will have studied and prepared for immensely. Does he deserve the win? Perhaps, but we'd like to see one of the other two take it.

The Great British Bake Off finale takes place at 8pm on BBC One, Wednesday October 7.
