A fierce WWE rivalry has been ongoing between Stephen Amell and wrestler Stardust lately, with the culmination being a battle at SummerSlam which saw the television star and Neville walk away winners when up against Stardust and Wade Barrett. But when it all comes down to it, the pair are a couple of softies at heart.

Collaborating with the WWE not only on his debut but an official t-shirt, Amell announced via his Twitter in August that all proceeds from sales of said shirt would go to support Emily's House Children's Hospice in Toronto.

The campaign for fundraising has now drawn to a close, and, teaming up with Stardust in a break of character, the pair handed over a cheque for $297,557 to Emily's House, making a joint appearance at the hospice to open a new playroom. That playroom - the Dream Space Playroom - is dedicated to the memory of Oliver 'Odd Sock Ollie' Muirhead, a young boy who passed away earlier this year following struggles with Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML).

With a goal to sell 1,000 shirts originally, Stardust promised that if over 10,000 shirts were sold he'd present the cheque in person. When all was said and done, over 15,000 shirts were sold and the amount of money donated doubled.

Amell took to his Facebook earlier this week to thank Stardust (Cody Rhodes) whilst praising the Emily's House staff.
