Tina McIntyre is set to impress Peter Barlow after she rescues his son from a horde of bullies on ITV's 'Coronation Street'
Recovering alcoholic Peter (Chris Gascoyne) discovers that Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) and a group of her school pals have been tormenting his son Simon (Alex Bain), and is horrified to learn that they've been recording the vicious behaviour and posting the footage online.
However, after the beautiful barmaid (Michelle Keegan) races to the rescue and steps in to defend the youngster, Peter is amazed by her heroic actions and the pair strike up a flirtatious fling, which leads to a saucy sex session.
Returning pub landlady Liz McDonald (Bev Callard) realises the pair are starting to engage in a blossoming romance and warns Tina to stay away from Peter unless she wants to face his furious partner Carla Connor (Alison King) when they get caught.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, Liz tells Tina: "A blind man could see he's got the hots for you. And you flirt with him.
"If I can see it then so will Carla. What's she going to make of it? You're playing with fire."
But Tina hits back: "The only reason we've become mates is because of Simon. I don't flirt with him, it's just harmless banter. Peter's old enough to be my dad."
Michelle is to quit the soap early next year to try her hand at other projects.
