Vic Reeves wants to play Norris Cole's son on 'Coronation Street'.
The comic has revealed is a huge fan of the ITV soap and his dream part would be playing the offspring of busybody shopkeeper Norris.
He told the Manchester Evening News: "I would like to be Norris's son. I have watched 'Corrie' since I was little and I have never missed an episode. For me, it's the greatest TV. I would love to be on 'Corrie'. It would make my life complete."
Vic also revealed he was hugely impressed with the recent live episode of the show in which drug-dealer Callum Logan was killed by his ex Kylie Platt, who - along with her husband David Platt - disposed of the body.
He said: "I thought it was brilliant. He was killed off and buried and I don't know how they will get out of that. Is it the end of David and Kylie?"
If Vic does manage to get a role in 'Coronation Street', he would be the latest in a long line of famous faces to tread the cobbles.
Peter Kay, Sarah Harding, Shayne Ward, Norman Wisdom and Paddy McGuinness have all appeared in the show.
