Natalie Anderson still misses 'Emmerdale'.
The 34-year-old actress saw her alter-ego Alicia Metcalfe flee the Dales last year after her marriage with her husband David (Matthew Wolfenden) broke down and, although she's got no plans to return, she still misses acting on the show.
She explained: "I do miss Alicia, of course I do, but obviously I'm always going to look back and think, 'I miss my friends.' But equally, it's exciting to work on something new and take on a whole different challenge."
The brunette beauty has her hands full with three-year-old son Freddie but still likes to keep up-to-date with the show when she can and is thrilled the door has been left open.
Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, she said: "I do try to catch 'Emmerdale' when I can.
"That said, I am quite strict with Freddie's bedtime, which often clashes. But I know that Alicia still gets mentioned."
Meanwhile, Natalie - who married her husband James Shepherd in 2008 - has revealed she doesn't plan to reprise her role as Alicia any time soon because she is enjoying spending the extra time with her family.
Speaking about a potential comeback, she explained: "Not in the near future because I'm just loving what I'm doing at the moment, I'm loving having the time with Fred, Fred goes to school in September, so at the moment I'm being very much picky about what I'm taking and what jobs I'm doing and I just couldn't commit to that full time soap schedule."
