Michelle Collins would love to bring her EastEnders character back from the dead.
Cindy Beale in the BBC One soap died in prison during childbirth back in 1998, but she's now hopeful she could be resurrected as the death happened off-screen.
The comments come after Kathy Beale's return to Walford, despite viewers being told nine years prior she was killed in a road accident.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Michelle said: "If Kathy Beale can go back, there's no reason why Cindy can't.
"It hasn't stopped them writing supposedly dead characters back in the past so I'm sure they could make it work. Everyone seems to be coming back from the dead."
She left the BBC One soap originally in 1998, but is now hoping she can make a return to the show for the aftermath of Lucy Beale's death, which featured heavily in the 30th anniversary celebrations of the soap last month, when half-brother Bobby Beale was revealed to be her killer.
On the subject of the twists, she added: "It's all anyone is talking about. I'd love to go back now. It'd be great for Lucy's mum to make a shocking reappearance."
However, Michelle may not have times to film on the Square as she admitted she's also in talks to star in some Hollywood blockbusters.
"I'm off to LA for castings but it's all top secret right now."
