Lucy Beale's murderer is to be revealed in a special flashback episode of EastEnders later this year.
The blonde beauty was brutally murdered and left to rot by her killer, but the villain will be unmasked during the BBC One soap's 30th anniversary week of live episodes this coming February.
Dominic Treadwell-Collins, executive producer of the show explained: "When we first created the Who Killed Lucy Beale storyline, we knew that we had to flash back to the night that she died on screen.
"So much happened on Good Friday 2014 after viewers saw Lucy leave her home and walk off into the night - and this Flashback episode will fill in the pieces for the rest of that night, before she was killed."
Former castmembers including Hetti Bywater as Lucy will return, along with Jamie Lomas (Jake Stone) and Tanya Franks (Rainie Cross) - as new twists in old storylines and secrets from the year are revealed.
Speaking of reprising her role, Hetti said: "It's great to be part of the conclusion and find out what really happened the night Lucy Beale died..."
Jamie also commented on his involvement: "It was always part of the plan between Dominic and myself that I would come back for this special episode that will fill the blanks in for the viewers."
Meanwhile, Tanya has teased viewers about whether or not Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) was really with her during the night his daughter was murdered.
She shared: "It's fab to be back celebrating the 30th anniversary of 'EastEnders'. Where have the last three decades gone?! So, if you want to find out if Rainie was really with Ian Beale on the night Lucy Beale died, then all will be revealed!"
