Jennifer Metcalfe is to return to Hollyoaks full-time next month, after announcing last year she was departing her role on the soap as Mercedes McQueen.

Exiting the soap when her character was said to have been murdered in November, a shock twist in last night's E4 episode saw her alive and well in France.
"It's good to be back." tweeted the actress after the scenes had aired.
Confirmation has also been made that the temporary absence from the show was announced as permanent to protect a huge storyline, which has seen Grace Black attempt to frame Freddie Roscoe for Mercedes' murder, in revenge for his killing of her father - a crime he's so far gotten away with.
Revealed in E4's first-look showing, the truth saw Grace tell Freddie's older brother Joe Roscoe what she'd planned and asked him for help.
Stunned, Joe went to France looking for answers and found Mercedes at a luxury villa on the French Riviera.
Mercedes will now appear on further scenes this coming week as the story behind her disappearance unravels, ahead of a permanent return in forthcoming episodes.
