'Coronation Street' actress Jane Danson wants the Battersby family to reunite.
The 36-year-old star, who plays Leanne Battersby in the ITV soap, has confessed she's missing her on-screen family including mum and dad Janice (Vicky Entwistle) and Les (Bruce Jones), and sister Toyah (Georgia Taylor).
Speaking about how she originally returned to the famous cobbles after a four year hiatus in 2004 because she wanted to work with them again, Jane told ITV's 'Lorraine': "I missed them really. Lots of my family, the Battersbys, were still there. So there was reason for Leanne to go back, which she did.
"And now I'm the last Battersby standing. So it would be nice if at some point they came to visit me."
Jane almost got her wish last year when fans started a petition to get struggling actor Bruce back on the soap.
He was famously axed from Corrie amid reports he was drinking heavily and spilling top secret storylines to friends in his local pub.
He made a plea to TV bosses in a bid to return to Weatherfield but it fell on deaf ears.
He said: "I know there is still room for Les on the show somewhere.
"It would be nice to go back and relive those days. I'd like to be part of the team again. I miss them. I worked there for a long time.
"My heart will always be with Coronation Street."
