Hetti Bywater is hoping that BBC One soap EastEnders will "shock" viewers by revealing Lucy Beale in fact committed suicide.
The lengthy plot is to come to a climax during the show's 30th anniversary celebrations later this month, and though Hetti's convinced her on-screen twin brother Peter Beale (Ben Hardy) is the killer, she'd love a surprise twist.
She explained: "I want it to be Peter. And I've dreamt that he did it - he's been planning it for months, so it was totally premeditated.
"It was a really dark side of Peter that we hadn't seen before.
"But part of me thinks that it would give the public a shock if it turned out Lucy had committed suicide. Who killed Lucy? Lucy."
Meanwhile, Adam Woodyatt who plays Lucy's father Ian Beale has turned detective and admits he's suspected everyone on the show at one point or another.
He said to Radio Times magazine: "I've gone full-on Claire Danes from 'Homeland' about this.
"Over the past eight months, I've suspected every member of the cast.
"We used to sit in the Vic pointing the finger at each other; the Beales were blaming the Brannings, while the Brannings were blaming the Beales."
As for Ben, he insists a member of the Beale family can't be the murderer and points the finger at Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald).
"I know it's Abi - it can't be anyone else. It's definitely not a Beale. And remember, I have an extra six weeks worth of knowledge that the public doesn't have. All of which informs me it's Abi."
