Gillian Taylforth and Adam Woodyatt cried during their first 'EastEnders' scene together for 15 years.
The 60-year-old actress - who plays Adam's character Ian Beale's mum Kathy Beale in the BBC One soap - has revealed they both burst in to tears when they were reunited on screen.
She said: "Adam, the first time we did a scene together, he just started crying and he made me cry and it's been quite an emotional journey for the pair of us but it's lovely to do scenes with him and Letitia [Dean, Sharon Mitchell] and Steve [McFadden, Phil Mitchell] and it just feels like I'm back home."
And the former 'Hollyoaks' star is hoping now Kathy's been brought back from the dead that she won't be killed off again anytime soon.
She told ITV's 'This Morning': "Hopefully this is going to be a long-term thing. It'd be nice for me to stay around long enough to really get stuck into it.
"I'm hoping I won't be killed off again. There'll be no coming back so I've got to behave myself.
"I'm not walking along the riverbank, the canal bank, I'm not doing anything like that at all."
Gillian also admitted she wasn't expecting Kathy - who was forced to fake her own death by her husband Gavin - to return to the soap and instead thought producers were getting in touch to ask her to help celebrate Adam's 30 years as Ian.
She added: "I thought, okay we're presenting Adam with a cake for 30 years, so I thought I'd be jumping out of a cake or doing a funny sketch for him."
