EastEnders actor Jake Wood has hinted that he now knows the identity of Lucy Beale's killer.

The actor revealed that executive producer Dominic Treadwell Collins may have told him who's to be revealed tonight as Lucy's killer, as part of the soap's 30th anniversary episodes.
Quizzed on ITV's Lorraine if he did know the secret, he said: "Maybe, possibly. I couldn't possibly say, but yeah. Obviously things are having to be revealed to the cast round about now. So I'm as blown away as everyone will be when they watch the episode tonight."
He went on to admit he would be thrilled if on-screen ex-wife Tanya Cross (Jo Joyner) returned for good following her guest appearances this week.
"It's been a joy to have Jo back for this week, I think our characters work incredibly well and I think it's a bit of a treat for the audience.
"They like to see Max and Tanya back together. I'd love Jo to come back longer term but obviously that's up to her, she's got other things in the timeline so we'll have to wait and see."
Meanwhile, his on-screen daughter Abi Branning - played by Lorna Fitzgerald - admitted she's yet to find out if she killed Lucy.
On This Morning she said: "I mean it could be [me], I could get a tap on the shoulder today like, 'Yeah, you did actually kill her'. But it would be interesting."
