Danny Miller is fearing for his life after being harrassed online with threats.
The actor recently rejoined the ITV soap Emmerdale as Aaron Livesy, after leaving in 2012, and has called the police to report the vicious and disturbing hate mail he's received from an unidentified stalker on Twitter.
The Sun newspaper was told by a source: "It has shaken him up. He fears for his life. It carried on for a while after he left 'Emmerdale' but then it stopped and he really thought it was finally all over.
"Almost as soon as he went back on screen as Aaron it started up again as bad as ever."
Danny has played the character since 2008 and even enlisted the help of Greater Manchester Police (GMP) four years ago, when 200 fake Twitter accounts were set up by the stalker to send the abuse.
He hopes this time round the police will be able to put a stop to the threats immediately.
The source continued: "He is back in touch with the police and he really hopes they can put an end to it."
Last year the hunk admitted he was disappointed about how the situation had been handled by the police.
He said: "I'm so gutted how GMP have treated the case. I'm sure they will take notice when someone is fighting for their life."
