'Coronation Street's live episode is to air on September 23.
ITV has announced the soap's upcoming dramatic live episode is to air on September 23 at 7.30pm as part of it's 60th anniversary celebrations.
An image of the 48 members of cast who will be involved in the episode has been uploaded to the official 'Coronation Street' Instagram account alongside the caption: "That's everyone in Nick's Bistro, for a read through of the Live episode #corrie #corrielive #behindthescenes"
And rehearsals have now begun at 'Corrie's studios in Media City, Salford, and will continue for the next two weeks.
A new image has also been revealed of Kylie (Paula Lane), David (Jack P. Shepherd) and Sarah-Louise Platt (Tina O'Brien) trying to escape from drug dealer Callum Logan (Sean Ward) following the release of the thrilling 'Nowhere left to Run' advert.
The live episode will focus on the Platt's desperate attempts to thwart Callum and his plan to extort them for £20,000.
Lloyd Mullaney (Craig Charles) and Andrea Beckett's (Hayley Tamaddon) leaving party at the Rovers Return pub and Roy Cropper's (David Neilson) 60th birthday party in the cafe will act as a backdrop to the tense drama at the Platts while Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) is in for a nasty surprise when he finds out his fiancee Sally Webster (Sally Dynevor) kissed her ex-husband Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell).
Following the live episode, fans will be treated to a special ITV2 show at 10pm hosted by 'Britain's Got More Talent' presenter Stephen Mulhern, who will chat to the cast about behind the scenes gossip.
