EastEnders actor Ben Hardy - who plays Peter Beale - thinks that Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald) is the one who murdered Lucy Beale (Hetti Bywater).
The star revealed he thinks his on-screen's former lover Max Branning's (Jake Wood) daughter Abi is the killer on the show, and insists that none of the Beale family are guilty, including on-screen father Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and step-mother Jane (Laurie Brett).
Speaking at last night's National Television Awards, he responded when quizzed about his thoughts on who killed Lucy: "Abi. It's not a Beale ... But that's just what I think."
A clue as to who killed Lucy was revealed during the live ceremony, showing that the last thing she heard was a music box.
However, fans are now going to have to wait until the soap's 30th anniversary next month to discover for sure just who ended Lucy's life.
Meanwhile, Ben has confessed he's "excited" about moving on from the BBC One soap following his announcement he'd be leaving for good last year.
"I'm excited, it's going to be sad to leave because I've made some good friends but I'm excited. I never really planned to stay for too long, I get bored staying in one place for too long but that's just me, that's nothing to do with 'EastEnders'."
