Angela Griffin would consider making a Coronation Street comeback.
The actress played hairdresser Fiona Middleton in the soap from 1992 to 1998, and would love to see a plot that sees her and all of Steve McDonald's former love interests return to the cobbles.
"Yeah, I think all Steve McDonald's women should come back one by one. I think Fiona would have had a baby by him so I'd come back with this 18-year-old child he'd never met."
She also admitted that after struggling to find work last year she lost a lot of confidence, and so was over the moon to land a role in Lewis as DS Lizzie Maddox.
Speaking to Closer magazine she said: "I was out of work for a year from 2012 to 2013 and I hated it.
"It really knocked my confidence. It was hard though I did get to spend loads of time with the kids. Eventually, I made my West End debut in 'One Man, Two Guvnors' [last September] and then 'Lewis' came along and now my career's where I want it."
