Alan Titchmarsh wants a role in 'Coronation Street'.
The 66-year-old TV gardener got his first taste of acting last year and now has a "taste" for it and would love a part in his favourite soap.
He said "I wouldn't mind a cameo in 'Coronation Street'. Last year, I made my West End debut in 'The Wind in the Willows' as the narrator.
"It gave me a taste for the boards, so a small part would be nice."
Away from his TV and gardening commitments, the 'Love Your Garden' presenter is also a bell ringer, something he first did when he was just 10 years old, and admits it is often a "surprise" for brides and grooms when they see him at their weddings.
He told Woman magazine: "Once a month I ring the bells for the morning service at my local church.
"I ring for weddings sometimes too. It always surprises the bride and groom when they see me on the end of a rope.
"I started bell ringing at the age of 10. I had a gap where I didn't do it and now I've come full circle."
