Adele Silva was unsure whether to accept a role on 'Hollyoaks' because of her new baby daughter.
The 34-year-old actress gave birth to daughter Sienna - her first child with fiance Oliver Farber - 10 weeks ago and is pleased she will be able to take her little girl onto the set of the soap as she was worried about being away from her so soon.
She said: "We start filming soon. It was hard to make the decision to go back to work so early but everyone has bills to pay and it was a great opportunity...
"My only worry was whether it was too soon to go back to work but my mum will be coming on set with me to care for Sienna while I'm filming scenes and Ollie is brilliant too.
"I'll still get to spend a lot of time with Sienna this way."
Despite 'Hollyoaks' being renowned for its good-looking cast members, Adele - who will play Angela Brown, a childless woman looking to adopt Peri Lomax's baby during her guest stint on the soap - isn't feeling the pressure to lost her baby weight to fit in.
She added to Closer magazine: "It's strange because 'Hollyoaks' has a bit of a 'model' mentality as all the girls are so beautiful, but I've not felt any pressure.
"My job is to act, not to look like a model."
