Darren is hurt when he discovers that Libby has enrolled Ben at Erinsborough Primary School. Not only is it a clear sign she doesn’t have any plans to go back to Shepparton but she’s also deliberately excluding him from Ben’s life. Libby reminds him that Ben is not his son.Darren tells Toadie the whole sorry story of his infidelity, explaining that Libby has been pushing him away: no matter what he does, he can’t seem to live up to her memory of Drew. Toadie argues that it’s no excuse but, given the spectre of Max that haunts his own relationship with Steph, he does have some sympathy. Steph, on the other hand, shows no such mercy. When Libby finally confides her woes, Steph is outraged and, against Toadie’s wishes, throws Darren out of her house.Surviving her first class with potential new boyfriend/replacement teacher Angus, Rachel attempts to apologise for lying about her age. However, Angus angrily insists that unless it is about her schoolwork, he has nothing to say to her. And from now on she should only address him as Mr. Henderson.Mia makes it clear that she doesn’t approve of Carmella and Marco’s relationship. Not only does she not trust Carmella’s motives, she is also best friends with his ex-wife Marisa. She assures Carmella that, whatever Marco has told her, Marisa is the true love of his life. Meanwhile, Marco’s mother warns her son that he can’t toy with the affections of a pregnant woman. Determined to prove that he is serious about Carmella, Marco stands up to both of the Silvani women and declares his love. Carmella has gained the advantage over manipulative Mia but are things with Marco moving just a little too fast?
