Having discovered Annie in Luc's bed, Bruce isn’t in the mood for reasoning; if he were, he'd know that it was his own strict regime that had left her dead on her feet in the first place. "You go near my daughter again, and I'll come after you with a shotgun," he threatens, before leaving for home with Annie. As soon as Tony hears about the whole affair, he's straight off to the farm for a one-to-one with Bruce. "You do not come barging into my house, let alone threaten my son with a firearm, do you understand that?" Tony begins, next warning him that he better not have hurt Annie. "What sort of monster do you think I am?" Bruce responds. Well, the answer's right out in the field – because while Tony and Bruce are arguing on the front porch at this very late hour, Geoff is busy ploughing. No, Bruce, you’re not monstrous at all. But that's not the end to Geoff's problems. The next day, fellow footy player Aden starts putting pressure on Tony to give him Geoff’s position on the team, arguing that Geoff doesn’t deserve to be there – when he does turn up he’s late. Tony refuses to give in to his demands, leaving Geoff the victim of bullying. And you know it must be bad for Lucas to have to step in and break things up (not that he and Geoff look to be anywhere near close to becoming friends just yet). Tony has one last trick up his sleeve: to tell the team just how much work Geoff has to do outside of school and footy. But is this really the end of Geoff's worries? The birds and the beesAfter Bruce's threat, Lucas is keen to steer clear of Annie. And you can't blame him; Jack and Sally have already found themselves staring down the barrel of a gun when in his company. In an effort to help Annie feel better about school, Lucas elects Belle to be her new lunch buddy for the day – and it's a lunch that turns out to be pretty enlightening for both of them. While Belle realises that Annie has a crush on Luc, Annie herself discovers that Luc's not really one for the whole "no sex before marriage" thing, and that Belle’s one of his conquests. "You did that and you didn’t think you’d be together forever?" she asks a gob-smacked Belle, who is by now painfully aware that she's unintentionally given Annie an introduction to the birds and the bees. Not knowing what else to do, Belle hands her a magazine to further her education.

When Bruce later finds out about it, it just adds fuel to the fire. Not only is Annie still keeping company with Luc (he saw them chatting together) but also reading, in his own words, "pornography". He promptly makes a prison of Annie’s room and locks her in there to pray for forgiveness. Yes, really.

Money, money, money

When Jazz stumbles across Drew obsessing over the car of his dreams, she takes it as an opportunity to try to get in his good books. But they have very different ideas of how it is she’s going to get there. Jazz thinks the offer of letting Drew use her swimming pool whenever he likes will suffice, but he's looking for something a little flashier. "Hey, you know what? I've got a better idea.

How about you buy me the car and I'll treat this like my own? That is, if you wanna be my friend and all" That’s right; Drew’s done a complete about-turn: now his respect can be bought – or so he says. Jazz having said no, he turns his attention to Dan and Leah, who tell him that if he's that interested in cars he should get an apprenticeship at the garage and earn the money to pay for one.

He, of course, doesn't seem that keen on actually working for a living, though, and so spends the afternoon chilling by Jazz's pool with Belle. The pair are almost caught by Irene – who's on the rampage after finding out that Belle's bunked off from school – but Jazz covers their tracks. And Drew finds the perfect way to repay the favour: by stealing a blank cheque from her bag before he leaves. There's gratitude for you!
