Jules is taking his time about leaving the Bay, and Jazz is less than impressed. "Surely you don't need me to invent a family crisis for you?" she asks threateningly. As their argument grows more heated, we find out just what secret it is that Jules doesn't want made public. It turns out that Jules hasn't always hated his best mate's mum; in fact, at one time, he really quite liked her – and even tried to crawl into her bed while on a family skiing trip with her and Drew. Jules is mortified but, as he tells Jazz, can't see how Drew finding out will make him dislike his mother any less than he already does. She waits in Jules's caravan and, when Cassie arrives to meet her beau, takes the chance to spin a story. "Jules has a bit of a history with me," she begins. Believing the tale that follows of Jules's ongoing obsession with Jazz, Cassie makes her exit and arrives at her party in tears – but not before she's had the chance to fill Drew in on his best friend's secrets. And when Drew finally catches up with Jules, he makes it crystal clear that it's time for him to leave town for good.Family affairs

To make matters worse, it seems that Jazz has her sights set on Dan, who's surprised to find his breakfast come with an unexpected side order of flirting!

Elsewhere, tensions are running high between Sally and Brad. Sally's still adamant that she would have been able to convince Bruce to let Annie and Geoff enter formal education just by talking to him; she's worried that the involvement of the Department will only make Bruce more hostile – if that's even possible. Brad's determined to make amends, but Sally’s not having any of it...
