Didn’t anyone ever teach Lucas that violence isn’t the answer? Punching Drew might have let off some steam but it hasn’t exactly had the desired effect; Belle’s still mongoosing around begging for forgiveness. “You used me!” Lucas screeches, flouncing down the beach with a face like thunder. Flexing his muscles and taking his shiner like a man, Drew is quick to reassure Belle he’d have done the same in Luc’s position. Lucas just needs space. Belle isn’t convinced, though, and moseys down to Luc’s house to apologise again. While waiting for him in the lounge, she spots a handwritten story Luc has written. Realising the story is about their relationship and the hurt he feels, she tries to convince a livid Luc that she cares about him. She was just confused and scared of what people would think. “What, that everyone would think you’re a slag? Well that’s exactly what you are, Belle!” You tell her, Lucas.Hit the roadBelle is amazed to find herself sobbing on Kelli’s shoulder. The evil aunt advises Belle to leave Lucas alone; Belle really only wants to make herself feel better, and there’s nothing she can do or say to change things at the moment. Belle heeds her advice, while Drew has a run in with Luc at the diner. Luc’s pride has taken one hell of a bump. “You treated her like dirt and still she goes running back to you,” he strops before packing his bags and loping his sweet way out of town. Belle, Jack and Drew dance around in a panic but Kelli’s the one who hunts Luc down. She convinces him that running from problems is the worst idea ever. “Are you gonna be a loser or are you gonna be a guy who can cope with life?” she bellows; Luc gets in the car. Kelli basks in her new saintly role. “I had you all wrong,” Belle marvels. “We could learn a thing or two from her,” Tony and Jack chorus. Yeah, like how to wreck your sister’s life.If you're feeling sinisterAmanda’s walking on clouds, busying herself with gooey wedding stuff. She’s got a date to pick up wedding bands with Peter, but he calls to tell her he’s running late; he had to pull someone over for a traffic offence. Amanda arranges to meet him at the police station. She waits there, all sunshine and bubbles, but gets the shock of her life when Peter enters with the traffic bandit. It’s Ethan! “You look like you’ve just seen a ghost,” Peter correctly observes. “This isn’t over. Not by a long shot,” Ethan hisses once Peter’s out of earshot, striking fear into Mandy’s baby blues.
