We never thought the emo thing would take off in Summer Bay, but Lucas appears to heading down that slippery slope. The boy’s done nothing but gaze at his navel and ponder how to get hold of black hairdye and razorblades without leaving the house or even opening the curtains ever since Lisa’s presentation. Tony manages to drag him out for a surf, but the pleasant morning is ruined by the sight of Belle and Drew on a romantic dawn stroll. With the evil aunt stuff on the backburner, Belle can concentrate on getting her money’s worth from Drew. She’s dropping huge hints about a trip to Paris when she spies her wounded ex. Tony has to restrain Lucas from strangling Belle with that red shoelace she uses to keep her head tied on.Pole romancerSally finally gets to tell a moon-eyed Martha that Brad’s moving in. With Martha’s blessing, Sal beams contentedly, but her face drops when an inordinately large eyebrow hovers into her line of vision. Cam’s here to introduce himself to the family, turning on the charm offensive. Sally thinks he’s full of it, and tells Brad she’s worried about Martha, getting into a relationship with this sleazebag so soon after Ash and all. She’s so concerned she ends up telling Brad about the abortion, and Brad just can’t keep his big gob shut. Reminding Sal to keep the hell out of her life, Martha spends the afternoon drinking her bodyweight in booze at the Rocket. Before long, she’s up on the stage and humping a pole while Cam licks his lips delightedly.Bummer BayCassie and her crew are busy hatching fun plots to raise money for the phone line. Colleen suggests a “natural beauties” calendar featuring local scenery; Ric quips that the only natural beauties he’s interested in are birds with their baps out. Thus, an idea is born. A calendar of naked boys! Ric pretends he doesn’t want to take part but he can’t wait to get his kit off. Neither can we, Ric… The girls round up 12 wannabe Chippendales, who are all goofing around excitedly when the photographer calls to cancel. Ric remembers that Belle’s nifty with a camera and Lucas puts his feelings on hold for the cause. Then Mr September drops out and Drew steps in and, well, you can see it coming really. Belle can’t resist cosying up to her fella when she sees him all shining and naked; an argument ensues; Lucas loses it and lamps Drew.
