"Martha well and truly hates me now", moans Morag, who is on the grog again. "Apparently, I'm an interfering old woman with no life of my own. I couldn't even keep my husband; I gave my child away for entirely selfish reasons; I make everyone's life a misery with my overbearing opinions; and basically I will end my days on my own." Ouch. "And," she concludes, "it's nothing more than I deserve.." Alf can't believe his hairy ears - and gives Martha a taste of her own medicine. Meanwhile, back at Summer Bay House, it's all hands on deck in preparation for Sally's welcome home party. Rocco soon arrives; Cassie is hot on his heels. When she arrives, Sal is moved to tears by the surprise. However, Martha has yet to put in an appearance. She's still digging her heels in after the rollicking from her granddad, but Ash convinces her to go and face the music. Once she's gone, Jack taps him on the shoulder. He's heard all about his double life - and he's got something to say about it. Beth is concerned when Kit reveals that Kim can't make it to the ultrasound today. In fact, he doesn't seem to be getting involved at all - and it's becoming a worry for Rachel too. Over lunch, she cuts to the chase and asks Kim when he's going to talk about the baby with her. This catches him off guard as he simply wasn't planning to! Rach assures him it's OK; in fact it's more painful that he doesn't share his feelings with her.Later, Tony collars the pair of them and asks them how the ultrasound went. This is the first that Rachel has heard of it, though, so she packs him off to the hospital. "You should be there with Kit", she smiles. However, despite her good wishes, Rachel's mixed feelings on the subject remain. At the hospital, Kim just makes it in time to see his baby on the monitor. Kit and Beth are happy he could make it. Together, they watch their baby in awe - it's all really happening! At the party, Alf moves over to Martha and asks her to apologise to Morag again. However, she says that it won't be happening. A seething Alf fills Ric in on all the latest events just as Jack arrives and tells Martha to give her boyfriend the flick. She's instantly annoyed that he's joined the chorus. Later, Alf refuses to let Ash join in the fun - and Ric tries to calm down the argument before making his own dig about Ash going home to see the wife and kids. At this, Martha goes black with rage. She warned her family not to interfere - but now they've done it for the last time. Sobbing, she runs upstairs; packs her bags; and comes down to announce that she's moving out. As far as she's concerned, if her family don't support her then what's the point of staying? With that, she exits stage right - leaving everybody in a state of shock.
