It's all touch and go with Sally. Is she going to die? Tsk, of course she isn't. Killing off Sal would be tantamount to high treason and there's no way they'd ever let this soap stalwart make the mistake of leaving to "work on other projects" (i.e. a universally-panned post-watershed drama, treading the boards for a couple of months, then a quick return to the show that made them famous. Letitia Dean et al, we're looking at you). Anyway, Sal might remain in the land of the living but she's still completely comatose. Her friends and family stand by her bedside having a good old gawp. Rics frustrations soon boil over; he sets off to talk to Rocco again in the hope he can shed light on the attack. "I think I need some air too", says Brad, nervously eyeing Sally's oxygen mask. Rocco is shocked by Ric, Matilda and Marthas return visit. They beg him to get some info out of Johnny, and he struggles not to accept their request. "He's never going to tell me anything", he sighs. "Not after I stitched him up". Yeah, that's enough talk about stitching for one programme, thanks - the poor woman's barely off the operating table...Oh, Home and Away truly is a work of twisted genius, isn't it? This whole saga about Kim becoming infertile, having the baby he wanted to adopt taken away from him and then finding out that he's going to be the father of his ex-girlfriend's baby is simply priceless. Although he tells Kit that he can't be involved in the child's life, Rachel spots Kit's bump from afar and soon puts two and two together. With tears streaming down her cheeks, she slowly begins to process this latest revelation. Kim is adamant that he doesnt want to hurt Rachel by being involved with the baby but, much to his surprise, a surprisingly selfless Rach doesnt want her husband to be deprived of his one chance at playing dad. Good on her for realising that you just can't fight the warped forces of Summer Bay! Later that afternoon, the couple pay Kit a visit and take turns at feeling the baby kick. It's a whole new journey for the three of them - and we're sure it won't be long before it goes horribly, indescribably, painfully wrong. Bring it on boys...Ric isn't the only bloke who wants a word in Johnny's shell-like. "You'd better start talking, mate", spits Peter, who is back at work and - of course - standing with his hands on his hips and pushing his crotch out at the camera. (Strangely, we're starting to find it comforting.) However, a smug Johnny remains tight-lipped - until Rocco's arrival, that is. "What if Sally wakes up and testifies?" he hisses. "You need to finish the job you started." Clearly, Johnny is not willing to go down for it - and his threats ring in Rocco's ears for the remainder of the day. Back at the hospital, it's all doom and gloom. "I don't think any of us will be fine until Sal wakes up and we find the mongrel who did this to her", grumbles Alf, as he gives Rocco a friendly pat on the shoulder. If only he knew, eh? Well, if he suspected anything, he certainly wouldn't leave Rocco alone with just the patient, the ventilator and a very tempting off-switch for company. Rocco mumbles an apology before getting ready to flick that switch and send Sal off to that great Brisbane in the sky. But just as he leans over, Sallys eyes begin to flicker. That's right, she's coming to - so will Rocco have the cojones to go through with it and end her life? (See our first paragraph for your answer...)
