Things are getting worse for the gang. Not only have they got no shirts but they've had to sell their shoes too. Also one of their members is working as a mole for the police, which is a little more serious. Cassie is concerned when she sees Rocco and Johnny having a tête-a-tête on the beach and promptly grasses him up to Sal. Meanwhile, Rocco reports the job time to Ash. He's freaking out like that awful poo lady Gillian McKeith might if trapped in a sausage roll factory, and Ash is no use at trying to calm him down. Sally greets him with a smile when he arrives home, but is quick to mention that he was seen with Johnny that day. Rocco covers and assures her that everything is fine. However, the next time she sees him, Sally carries on nagging - and gets her head bitten off by way of response. A reeling Sally later settles down at her computer and notices that her bank account is empty. The pieces all begin to slot into place...
Time to crack on with that bank job, then. Or is it? Well, now that Johnny knows the coppers are on their case, he's decided upon a change of plan. Instead, while the bizzies loiter outside the credit union, the gang will be merrily doing over a warehouse in Yabbie Creek. And, no, it's not long before Johnny gives his little brother what for. "How could you do it, Roc?" he spits. "It feels like you knifed me in the guts. And maybe that's what you should have done, because you know you're not getting out of this in one piece." A simple sorry doesn't have quite the desired effect (well, fancy that) and the break-in looks set to continue. Meanwhile, full of trepidation, Sally sneaks into Johnny's place and discovers a sheet of paper that must have been dropped on the gang's way out. Conveniently, its a map of the warehouse they're all taking on - and she wastes no time in phoning Ash with her discovery. The cops on duty are radioed and the day is saved when Ash pins Johnny to the ground and cuffs him. The nightmare is over at last. Or is it?
Back at the station, as the coppers stuff their faces with doughnuts in celebration of a job well done, Ash explains to Sal that Rocco was helping them catch Johnny all along. Although this doesn't change the fact that he deceived her, Saint Sal soon forgives him. "Of course I don't hate you", she says, as she holds her voodoo doll of him behind her back. Somebody she's less ready to let off the hook is Ash; in her opinion it was hugely irresponsible of him to put Rocco in such a dangerous situation. Later, Ash informs Johnny that theyve got evidence to pin him for the break-in at Amandas, dealing drugs and vandalising Brads apartment. Also, he's determined to send him down for killing former gang member Tom as well. But there's a chilling moment when Johnny comes face-to-face with his brother for one final time. "Tom paid the price", he growls at Rocco," and now so will you." Yikes. "You let an outsider like Sally Fletcher come between us, and you know there's got to be a sacrifice. If not you, then someone. And if you want to save yourself, you know what you have to do..."
