Rachel is shocked into silence as Kim finishes explaining how he came to learn he is infertile. Kim apologises for hurting her but insists his reasons behind the break-up seemed like a good idea at the time.Rachel is devastated and feels guilty for not insisting Kim have a check up as soon as he discovered he had the Mumps.Kim tells Rachel how much he loves her but doesn ’ t want her to resent him for not giving her children in the future – therefore,,Rachel must make a decision as to whether she wants to stay with him.Kim encourages her to take her time but Rachel is saddened by the huge decision she must now make.Rachel is walking from the beach when she sees Leah sitting on a park bench so she approaches.Soon,Rachel bursts into tears and Leah offers her comfort.Rachel begins to open up about her devastating predicament.Having been in a similar position when she found out she was infertile,Leah offers some words of advice and encouragement.Meanwhile,Kim has confiding in Jack who reassures Kim that a couple that love each other as much as Kim and Rachel will get through any adversity.Rachel returns home and tells Kim she has decided to stand by him 100%.The full implications of being only 19 and unable to have children begin to hit Kim,who is absolutely devastated.Rachel holds him in her arms,as the couple are united in their grief and loss.Cassie is expressing her concerns to Macca that their secret affair will soon be exposed.Ric will be home in a week and Cassie knows she must be honest about her relationship with Macca – even if it means she will lose her friends and family.Macca later confides in Jack but Jack insists he can ’t keep lying to Martha and will be left with no other option but to tell her the truth.Macca realises it ’s time to fess up.Christening preparations are in full swing,as Leah and Dan arrive laden with food.Not far behind is Jack and Martha,who arrive together in a united front following their earlier discussion.Robbie and Tasha are pleased to see they ’ve put aside their differences.Rachel and Kim arrive hand in hand and try their best to stay strong for one another.As the Christening ceremony unfolds, things are clearly taking their toll on Kim – it ’s a harsh reminder of what he and Rachel will never experience.Little Ella is put to bed as the celebrations continue.Kim moves off to the bathroom but as he emerges,he hears Ella crying.He moves over to her and attempts to settle her,but to no avail.Eventually,he reaches into her cot and picks her up.Rachel moves past the room and watches as Kim comforts little Ella in his arms.Meanwhile,Macca arrives to spend some time with Cassie – who ’s made an excuse not to attend the Christening.Macca is on edge following his discussion with Jack but much to his shock,Cassie announces she plans to tell Ric the truth – today!In fact,she ’s going to see him face to face.Macca pulls her onto the lounge for a kiss,insisting the others won ’t be home from the Christening for a while – so they can make the most of their quiet time together..In no time, the couple are locked in a passionate embrace – until they are abruptly interrupted by the door opening behind them.Cassie and Macca spin around and are horrified to see Ric standing there!Uh-oh – Busted!!!
