Terri Dwyer is open to a return to 'Hollyoaks'.
The 42-year-old actress was one of the show's original cast members, but departed her role as Ruth Osbourne in 2001, and she still has fond memories of her time on the Channel 4 soap and would "never say never" to going back.
She said of her time on the show:" The friends I made there are like friends you make at university. We're like a real family.
"[Would I go back?] If the time and the storyline was right. Never say never..."
But Terri - whose character enjoyed romances with Kurt Benson (Jeremy Edwards), Lewis Richardson (Ben Hull) and Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) - admitted she didn't get along with all of her castmates when on the soap.
Discussing her role in gritty new film 'Hooligan Legacy', she said: "It's a revenge story with lots of twists.
"The cast were great. When you're playing a couple - as I was with Kris Johnson - it's important you get along.
"There were people in 'Hollyoaks' I'd rather not have played tonsil tennis with."
Terri has sons Caiden, 10, and Kylan, six, with husband Sean Marley but isn't interested in having any more children in the future.
She told Star magazine: "It's hard [working and raising kids] but the important thing is my boys see that I'm in a job that I love."
Asked if she wants more children, she added: "No. The responsibility of having two lives to look after is overwhelming."
