New beginnings, new faces, new love, new adventures and a new term is promised in the brand new New Year trailer for Hollyoaks 2017. It looks as if the next 12 months aren’t going to be an easy run by any stretch of the imagination.
This year we’ll see the Lomax ladies go on a vacation to their aunt’s secluded cabin in the woods. Looking like the set of a horror movie, it doesn’t take long for things to start going wrong as Tegan discovers a dead body in the lake. Could it be anything to do with Cameron, who wants revenge after finding out baby Daniel isn’t his biological son?
No one knows that Cameron has killed Celine, with the village blissfully unaware of her real location, instead thinking she’s in Thailand on a luxury break. When a sinister discover is made however, it’s ex-boyfriend Jesse Donovan who’s immediately put in the frame.
Elsewhere, Ste is furious with Amy for keeping him away from his children and he even tells his ex that he’d be happy to see her dead. When we then see Ryan phoning the emergency services because he’s found someone not breathing, we realise there could be a lot of drama ahead.
Nancy isn’t having the best start to the year when she gets her diagnosis for Multiple Sclerosis. Utterly unaware of how she’ll continue living the life she wants, an emotional journey is promised for her and Darren who wonder how they’ll cope as parents.
As Liam and Eva continue life on the run, Grace is eager to get revenge after her best friend Esther was shot by Eva. With Liam and Eva hoping to flee Hollyoaks, Grace could be about to make a big mistake in the name of vengeance.
