Credit: Lime PicturesHollyoaks are to release a trailer at 3.30pm later today which will reveal a major character's death, as part of an upcoming 'whodunit?' storyline.
Sam Lomax is to tell her colleague Sonny Valentine that a local resident's body has been found, and a police investigation will get underway.
The storyline will leave those in Hollyaoks "mistrusting even the closest around them" according to executive producer Bryan Kirkwood.
John Paul's court date and Sinead's tragic baby storyline are both also expected to be included in the trailer, as well as Ste's darker side when he torches a car and Maxine's test of strength when she starts to believe she's pregnant.
Hollyoaks continues weekdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
