Frankie (Helen Pearson) is terrified that Jake (Kevin Sacre) may have killed himself. He emerges from the shadows, gazing up at the window of Nancy's (Jessica Fox) flat. Zak (Kent Riley) attempts to broach his illicit kiss with Katy (Hannah Tointon) but she's too preoccupied with Justin (Chris Fountain) to listen. When Justin arrives home to find an apparently carefree, tipsy Katy having a laugh with Kris (Gerard McCarthy) and Zak, it seems he's the last thing on her mind. Jacqui (Claire Cooper) is frustrated by Mercedes' (Jennifer Metcalfe) inability to manage her finances. Will Mercedes and Tony (Nick Pickard) inadvertently admit their sordid secret? Concerned about Leah, Sarah (Loui Batley) asks Suzanne (Suzanne Hall) to try and convince Amy (Ashley Slanina-Davies) to let her and Mike help out.
