Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) feels rough, and Carmel (Gemma Merna) is in a panic about starting her new job. While Carmel and Jacqui (Claire Cooper) are busy arguing, Mercedes sneaks upstairs with a pregnancy test. Beth (Sinead Moynihan) arranges for her and Hannah (Emma Rigby) to go on a double date. Rhys (Andrew Moss) tells Beth he is certain Danny (David Judge) is no good for Hannah, but Beth knows the real reason Rhys is so angry and warns him to keep his nose out of her business.
