Tony (Nick Pickard) and Jacqui (Claire Cooper) get an answer from the adoption agency. Jacqui is furious when Tony tells Tessie that Harry's present is in the post. She gives Tony an ultimatum: it's her or his son. Amy (Ashley Slanina-Davies) is ecstatic when Ste (Kieron Richardson) tells her that he's got them a council flat. She's nervous when Mike (Tony Hirst) turns up, but need she worry? Dom (John Pickard) thinks that Tina (Leah Hackett) is ignoring him as she throws herself into her new job. Gilly (Anthony Quinlan) offers to help Beth (Sinead Moynihan) when she's evicted from halls. He thinks Rhys (Andrew Moss) should show more concern for his sister's plight.
