Neville (Jim Millea) is worried Noel's wake will be poorly attended and is pleased when Rhys (Andrew Moss) decides to go. However, Rhys is shocked when Neville reveals that Noel had another child - a daughter. Rhys is frozen to the spot when the time comes to meet her and he finds himself face to face with Beth (Sinead Moynihan). Ste (Kieron Richardson) staying in the Barnes household causes tension in the family. Sarah (Loui Batley) tries to reason with Amy (Ashley Slanina-Davies) but is disappointed when she won't listen, and Amy's warning to the family to stay out of the way casts a dark shadow over Sarah's birthday celebrations. Frankie (Helen Pearson) and Jack (James McKenna) nervously prepare for the arrival of their new foster child, Newt (Nico Mirallegro).When Newt arrives, his monosyllabic style of communication increases their distress.
