Josh (Sonny Flood) feels betrayed that his mum (Suzanne Hall) knew about Amy (Ashley Slanina-Davies) having a baby but didn't tell him. Trying to cheer Josh up, Suzanne books a family holiday to France, leaving that evening. Before Josh leaves Amy tells him that she wants them to raise Leah together. Suzanne reluctantly agrees to leave Melissa (Carla Chases) and Hannah (Emma Rigby) home alone. John Paul (James Sutton) is having reservations about the letter he sent to Frankie (Helen Pearson). When he sees that Frankie hasn't sorted through her post, he races to get to the letter before her. And Aleksander (Jon Lolis) passes his taxi driver interview.
